French National Audiovisual Institute (INA) and Mongolian cultural foundation Tavan Nud began collaboration on Mongolian audiovisual heritage.
Gentlemen Jamyansuren Tsend-Ochir, poet and director and Odbayar Battogtokh, music composer were in France early 2019 to work on audio restoration: ethics and technics.
The first steps of this collaboration were focused on audio restoration of Mongolian « long song » art. 11 hours of recordings on compact cassette from the 80’s. It is a series of invaluable exchanges between two famous artist: Jamtsyn Badraa (1926-1992) and specialist of Mongolian long song Jigzavyn Dorjdagva (1904-1991).
