We are all, as media and audiovisual archives, facing extremely difficult times and challenges nowadays. The value and the importance of our role to preserve audiovisual heritage is often very well recognized and acknowledged by the public and our peers. But we still have, more often than not, extremely hard time fully financing the whole scopes of our missions. In addition to that struggle, we can very well feel that the upcoming transformations implied by the arrival of artificial intelligence will deeply impact and modify our organizations as we know them today. In that context, we’ll share the outcomes of what we’ve learned observing, trying, and applying different strategies in our field in recent years. And with these lessons learned in mind, we’ll try to propose a few principles, guidelines, and concrete actions that could, hopefully, benefit our community of professionals as a whole.
