Mrs. Segal is the head of IPBC-KAN Radio & TV Archives and head of the digitization project of the archives
of the former IBA-TV. Within the IBA she started as a researcher for documentary and news. As head of sales within the archive, she gained a rich experience in legal copyright issues and developed high skills in preservation of various film & video formats.  Mrs. Segal has been archive consultant for numerous Israeli documentaries and international productions. At 2000, joined FIAT/IFTA and became a member of the Production Commission of the organization. In that role she took part in various professional workshops and was a member of the International Archive Award Jury from 2002-2017. In 2005 she co- founded the forum for the preservation of the audiovisual memory in Israel. The forum aimed to change the Audiovisual preservation legislation in Israel.
