At this moment I am responsible for the external collaborations of VRT Archive. All communication about VRT Archive also falls within my domain. Since 2008 I collaborated on the digitization of the VRT's film collections and was involved in the multi-year registration operation that was completed last year. I have an audio-visual education, I am not a historian, and have worked in the broadcasting news service since 1995. In those days of analog carriers, I sometimes came into contact with the broadcaster's film collection and at that time it was quite inaccessible. The project that the archive started in 2008 was a unique opportunity for me to get involved in making that collection accessible: registration, renovation, working with a sheltered workshop, digitization. it was a great period that we are still reaping the benefits of today.
