Life is an exciting journey for those who are brave enough to live it to the full. Over the last 50 years I've embraced it in all its facets - I've explored the Amazon Jungle and climbed Kilimanjaro. I've viewed the stars through the ancient Mayan observatory at Chitzen Itza in the Yucatan Peninsula, and I've marvelled at the Sphinx and the great pyramid at Giza. I've seen the waters thunder at Victoria Falls and been awed by the majesty of the Iguazu Falls in Argentina. I've flown my kite in the park and danced in the rain.

I've achieved both success and failure - and have learned much from both outcomes.

I started my career in the media industry and have solid leadership experience in both print and electronic media. Over the last 10 years I've dedicated myself to working in the "third sector" of non-profit management. I'm accustomed to working with limited resources, raising funds for priority projects, advocacy and consensus-based decision making.

I'm currently serving as Executive Director of SACIA - an organisation dedicated to promoting the adoption of ethical business practices and professional standards in the communications industry. Under my leadership the Association has grown steadily and become the largest provider of specialist training in our marketplace.

I learn something new every day, and commit myself to truth, honesty and the pursuit of excellence in both my personal and professional life.
