Brid Dooley is Head of Archives for RTÉ. She has been a formative leader of the archives at RTÉ from joining in 2000, later taking on the role of Head of Department and responsible for integrating the whole of archive services across the organsation from 2012. A former president of FIAT/IFTA and long-standing active member internationally, she continues to support initiatives to promote and develop audiovisual archive and leads the Save Your Archive programme initiative of FIAT/IFTA. She is currently working on the next phase of development of the digital archive as part of RTÉ’s overall dgital transformation strategy for the broadcaster, leading a programme of change management and projects towards the preservation and development of a fully integrated digital archive service and business for RTÉ.
